Every part of the Orlando Men’s Rehab Teen Challenge program is focused on helping adults stay away from alcohol and drugs and, most importantly, building a strong foundation for a lifetime of recovery, which includes finding spiritual healing.
Long-term residential recovery programs, like Teen Challenge, offer a distinct alternative to the familiar short-term options. Short-term programs often provide temporary relief but fail to address the root causes of addiction, leading to recurring relapses and significant financial burdens. Many individuals arrive at Teen Challenge after multiple unsuccessful attempts with short-term rehabs, realizing that this long-term approach could have been the most effective choice.
This program is unique because it commits a whole year to helping each person with addiction. This takes a lot of effort and support from the organization and the community, but it’s necessary for the program’s high success rates. Over this year, the program’s daily structure, sense of community, and focus on faith have helped individuals gradually shift away from harmful, drug-focused thinking. Instead, they discover a new purpose and start thinking and living healthier. This new purpose and way of life leave no room for drug or alcohol abuse, as addiction is replaced by self-love, peace, happiness, a clear sense of purpose, and excitement for the future.
